The Church of Israel is a Christian Identity church based out of Missouri that was founded by Dan Gayman.
Internal Problems
In 2000 a rift opened up in the Church that threatened to put it on unstable financial footing. Jerry Gentry, a longtime patron from Texas, who had contributed large sums of money to the Church (through a proxy organization called the National Heritage Foundation) came close to revoking his support and money after the expulsion of Scott Stinson, a minister at the Church.[1]
