In 2012 they received a $300,000 from the Open Society Foundations "To support the Citizen Engagement Laboratory, an Oakland-based online advocacy hub for projects such as Color of Change, Presente, and Get Equal. Established in 2006, the Citizen Engagement Laboratory develops uses digital media and technology to enhance civic engagement and amplify the voices of underserved groups." [1]
In 2014 the Online Progressive Engagement Network received a $100,00 grant "through Citizen Engagement Lab Education Fund)." [2]
