Citizens for Global Solutions
Citizens for Global Solutions formed in 1947 and is a 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation that "inspires America to engage the world." They changed their name from the World Federalist Association in 2004 when they merged with the Campaign for UN Reform. They add that:
- "We promote closer American cooperation with and support for international institutions capable of responding to the threats and challenges of a new century. We work to build political will in the United States to ensure that our leaders work with our friends and allies. And with your help, we will make the world a safer and better place for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren." [1]
They are a sponsoring organization of Partnership for Effective Peace Operations.
According to their 2005 IRS 990 form their income was just over $600,000 all of which came from direct public contributions. Pdf
"When the World Federalist Association merged with the Campaign for UN Reform in January, 2004, to become Citizens for Global Solutions, the World Federalist Institute was created to carry on the tradition of studying and advocating world federation." [1]
