"In 2011, our Board of Directors voted to change our name to the Clifton Institute, Inc. with the continued objective to promote health and the environment. We feel this name better reflects who we are and what we have been doing for the past three decades.

Biocentric Institute
"The Biocentric Institute, a division of the Clifton Institute, engages in a population/migration issues. The Institute publishes a bimonthly letter concentrating on anticipatory journalism, writing about subjects before they are picked up by the mainstream media... The project is directed by William B. Dickinson, a former Editor and Journalism teacher. He has written regularly for the Biocentric Institute since 1992. A 1953 graduate of the University of Kansas, he was a special agent in the U.S. Army's Counter-Intelligence Corp...In May 2009, the Institute published a paperback collection of its most important essays of the last 10 years, under the title: "Dear Fellow Citizen: Thoughts on Population, Environment & Society."
