The Common Sense coalition is a 501(c )(4) founded by Charles Conn, Thomas Layton and Greg Orman. The organization states that it "came together in 2011 because we share a belief that our country has serious problems and that the current political environment leaves little hope of solving them."[1]
Activities
The Common Sense Coalition launched a blog for Coalition members and organizations to post articles about the national debt.[2] The Coalition also circulates a "Common Sense" Pledge. "By signing this pledge, you'll be telling your elected officials that you support these Common Sense Principles," the pledge reads, "and that they should too."[3]
