Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (CEL&P) is owned by the City of Crawfordsville in Indiana. Its "Utility Service Board is made of five individuals appointed by the Mayor and City Council in Crawfordsville. They are a policy making board. They also oversee the financial affairs of the utility, including any major expansion or expenditures like a new substation." CEL&P serves over 9,600 customer accounts and has a system demand of 84 megawatts (MW).[1]
