"As Managing Director, Dan is responsible for overall management of the nonprofit Verite, which gathers and disseminates information about local labor and environmental conditions around the globe. Prior to joining Veritè, Dan managed social and environmental initiatives for Citizens Funds, a socially-screened mutual fund company. From 1994 to 1998, Dan was chief executive officer of the China Program for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), where he established the Beijing office for the first international environmental nonprofit in China. A graduate of Yale University, Dan also has a master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. With his wife Mary Jo and their two children, Dan enjoys hiking, and cross-country skiing, and coaching soccer."
