Daniel Zovatto
Daniel Zovatto (Costa Rica) "Born in Argentina, he has served as Senior Executive of International IDEA for Latin America since 1985 and has advised many Latin American governments in programs of democratic governance and constitutional, political and electoral reforms since 1985. He has taken part in over 50 electoral observation missions. He joined the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights as Assistant Director and Executive Director of CAPEL (Electoral Advisory and Promotional Center) and Funding Member and Executive Secretary of the Electoral Associations of Central America (Tikal Protocol), South America (Quito Protocol) and the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations (UNIORE).
"Bachelor in Political Sciences and International Relations from the Universidad Católica de Córdoba and has a degree in Law from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina. PhD in International Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Master’s degree in Diplomacy, Escuela Diplomática de España and a Master’s degree in Public Administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
