Background on Plant
The existing power station consists of four 660 MW supercritical coal units, majority-owned by China Datang. They began operating in 2006.[1]
Proposed expansion
Datang Group is seeking permits to expand the power station by two 1,000 MW units.[2]
However, with no developments since February 2013, plans appear cancelled.
