Datang Yan’an power station (大唐延安热电厂) is a 700-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Shaanxi Province, China.

Background on Project

China Datang is planning to build a cogeneration coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Shaanxi Province. The environmental impact assessment was approved in March 2014.

The power station is under construction and planned for operation in 2017.

Unit 1 was commissioned in December 2017.

As of May 2018 Unit 2 has been completed but is waiting for a permit to be commissioned. Unit 2 was commissioned in July 2018.
