The Dathwegyauk coal mine near Tamu in Sagain state is based on a deposit estimated to contain 33.9 million tonnes of sub-bituminous coal. The deposit is reported by the Pa’O Youth Organisation as being actively mined by MEC. (While the table in the group's report states that the deposit is being actively mined, the accompany map lists it only as a coal deposit which has been discovered.)
