Datun Mine power station (中煤上海大屯能源大屯热电联产) is a 1,009-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Jiangsu Province, China.

Location

Background on Plant
The first nine coal-fired units of Datun Mine power station, totaling 499 MW, were brought online between 1998 and 2010. The plant is owned by ChinaCoal.[1]
Unit 3 (55 MW) has been retired. Unit 6 (135 MW) was retired in May 2019.[2]
Expansion
ChinaCoal has planned two additional coal-fired units at this plant, known as units 10-11, with a total capacity of 700 MW. The new units were scheduled to be completed in 2015,[3] but as of April 2018 Planet satellite photos show construction is ongoing.
Unit 10 was commissioned in January 2019.[4]
Unit 11 was commissioned in May 2019.[5]
