Biographical Information

"Mark Boleat is the independent Chairman of the ALP. He has considerable experience in trade associations, business and regulation. He has previously been Director General of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association and the Association of British Insurers. He has been on the boards of listed and private companies and charities. He has also been a member of the National Consumer Council and the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and for a year was responsible for regulating claims management companies for the Ministry of Justice. He is currently Deputy Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee and Chairman of the Markets Committee in the City of London."
