David E. McKinney "recently retired as president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He retired in 1992 from a career as a senior executive of IBM, where he worked closely with Chairman Thomas J. Watson, Jr. He is a director of PAXAR Corp., International Executive Serves Corps, Organization Resources Counselors, and the New York Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship, and serves as executive secretary of the Thomas J. Watson Foundation." [1]
