David Zwick, Founder, Clean Water Action
"David’s work over the past 30 years has focused on helping grassroots citizen organizations form, grow and campaign successfully. In the fall of 2007, he stepped down as President of Clean Water Action, which he founded in 1972. Since then he has been a Fellow at Harvard's Institute of Politics for a semester and later worked on several election campaigns. David is Treasurer of America Votes, a national organization that works with its partner groups on election projects. He is the author of Water Wasteland, which helped shape the Clean Water Act, and co-author of the bestseller, Who Runs Congress. He holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. David currently serves as Treasurer for the Board of Friends of the Earth." [1]
