Defence Support Group
"The Defence Support Group (DSG) provides the Ministry of Defence (MOD) with secure access to assured onshore capacity and capability for the through-life maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade and procurement support services for defence equipment. This is in line with the defence white paper, National Security through Technology, published in February 2012...We are currently a UK Government Trading Fund owned by MOD. However, the Strategic Defence and Security Review October 2010 announced the government’s intention to sell DSG within the period of the current Spending Review, 2014/15." [1]
In November 2014 The UK Ministry of Defence selected Babcock as preferred bidder for the Defence Support Group's land business.[1]
