"He is the Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Pets at Home plc. Dennis is also Chairman of the Trustees of the charity The Holy Cross Children’s Trust. He was previously Chairman of Halfords Group Plc, Senior Independent Director at Debenhams plc, Premier Farnell plc and Xchanging plc and was Chairman of Connect Group plc. Dennis has broad commercial and financial experience in the retail, service, distribution and manufacturing sectors in the UK and internationally including at Cookson Group Plc where he was Finance Director. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town."
