Background
Dharmavaram power station was a proposed 150 megawatt (MW) coal plant at Dharmavaram in Andhra Pradesh, India. In April 2011, it was reported that the project had been put on hold due to delays in environmental clearances.[1] As of August 2014 the project appears to be abandoned, since it has not applied for any environmental clearances and is not mentioned on the company's website.[2]
