Dirk Rohwedder
Dirk Rohwedder - Head of School, Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs.
"Upon graduatating as a master potter, Dirk moved from Germany to England to manage a pottery training and production workshop for the Camphill Village Trust. After making this a great success, Dirk looked for ways to make his work more publicly accessible. He founded and lead Taurus Crafts, an arts and craft centre and tourist attraction in the Forest of Dean in 1995. The centre has developed to be become a very successful craft hub and social enterprise.
"In 2009 Dirk left Taurus Crafts to become Business Development Manager at RISE, the Social enterprise network support organisation in the South West England. In 2010 Dirk joined the Dartington SSE team as Programme Consultant assisting with the running of the courses, building funding partnerships and developing new course offerings. In June 2011, Dirk took on the role of Project Development manager at the Dartington SSE." [1]
