Dongyuan Tech power station (内蒙东源科技低热值煤自备电厂一期) is a 200-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project
Dongyuan Tech is a 4 x 50 MW coal plant in Wuda district, Wuhai Prefecture. It was commissioned in 2014, and is owned by Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co.[1]
Proposed expansion
Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co. has proposed a 2 x 350 MW expansion of the coal-fired power station for Wuda District. The new units were permitted for construction in September 2015.[2]
2016: Nationwide Restrictions Imposed on Development of Coal-Fired Power Capacity
Due to new restrictions announced during 2016 by the National Energy Administration and the National Development and Reform Commission, further capacity expansions at this location appear to be on hold or cancelled. With no developments since 2015, the expansion appears to be cancelled.
