Edward Kaska is the Director for Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Textile Trade Affairs at the U.S. State Department's Office of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Textile Trade Affairs (ABT or EEB/TPP/ABT.[1]
- "Edward Kaska joined EEB/TPP (Trade Policy and Programs) as Director for Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Textile Trade Affairs in August 2010. Prior to this assignment, he served as Economic Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine. Mr. Kaska has also served overseas in London, United Kingdom; Prague, Czech Republic; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His service in Washington has included work as the Director of the State Department’s Office of Current Intelligence and as Deputy Director of the Foreign Service Institute’s Economic Studies Division. Mr. Kaska also served at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative as Director for European Agriculture and Service. Mr. Kaska graduated from the University of Texas with degrees in Economics and Law. He also has earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in European Community Law from King’s College London and a Master of International Business Law from the University of London."[2]
