Biographical Information
"Ms. Ellen R. Marram serves as Senior Managing Director at Brock Capital Group LLC. Ms. Marram serves as the President of The Barnegat Group. She is a Strategic Advisor and Member of Advisory Board at Physic Ventures, LLC. She serves as an Operating Advisor at North Castle Partners, LLC. She joined North Castle Partners in September 2000 first as a Managing Director after briefly serving as the Chief Executive Officer of a start-up B2B exchange for the food industry. She served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Tropicana and the Tropicana Beverage Group from 1993 to 1998, where she steadily grew revenue and earnings. In her tenure, Tropicana nearly tripled its shareholder value and was sold to PepsiCo in 1998. From 1988 to 1993, she was the President and Chief Executive Officer at the Nabisco Biscuit Company, where she consistently produced strong revenue and profit growth in a highly leveraged environment. Ms. Marram led the 1992 launch of SnackWell's cookies and crackers. She served as the President at Nabisco's Grocery Division from 1987 to 1988, and from 1970 to 1986, she was in marketing management at Nabisco/Standard Brands, Johnson & Johnson, and Lever Brothers. She serves as Lead Director of Eli Lilly & Co. She serves as a Director at Red Door Spas and Eli Lilly and Company. She has been Independent Director of Ford Motor Company since 1988. She serves as the Chairman at HDS Cosmetics Lab. She is a Member of the Healthcare Executive Leadership Network. She is a Member of Advisory Board at CTPartners Board Consultants. She has been a Director of The New York Times Company since 1998 and Mozido, LLC since July 3, 2012. She is a member of the Healthcare Executive Leadership Network. She serves on a number of nonprofit Boards including The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, City Meals-on-Wheels, Lincoln Center Theater, and The Families and Work Institute. She served as the Chairman at Avalon Natural Products and DDF. She served as a Trustee of the Conference Board and Member of the Board of Associates of Harvard Business School. At Tropicana, she was named one of the Top 25 Managers of the Year by Business Week. Ms. Marram holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Wellesley College." [1]
