FORCE (Florida’s Organics Recycling Center for Excellence) is a legislatively funded project that provides a framework to promote organics recycling and research in a statewide effort to streamline compost processing, research, demonstration, marketing, and education in Florida. It involves Sumter County, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), and Public/Private Researchers.[1]
