Produced by Jeffrey Hays, FahrenHYPE 9/11 is a direct-to-DVD response to Fahrenheit 9/11 to be released October 5, 2004. The film is created by Michael & Me L.P.. The film claims "unravel the truth about Fahrenheit 9/11", and its slogan that "you knew it was a lie...now you'll know why".
The trailer features prominent conservatives claiming that Moore is wrong. The trailer also includes Ann Coulter saying "This is a movie based on lies." It also features a number of people defending their freedom to create their response film based on the First Amendment and such.
Patrick Byrne, founder of Overstock.com, purchased the online distribution rights for the movie.
