Zell Miller
Zell Miller, formerly a conservative Democrat Senator from Georgia, joined the public affairs practice of the law firm McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP as a "senior policy adviser" in December 2004 following his retirement from Congress. [1]

Iraq War
Miller voted for the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq in Oct. 2002.
Pro-Bush Democrat
Miller, although he was retiring at the end of 2004, pledged to campaign for the re-election of Republican George W. Bush.
Miller was one of the keynote speakers at the 2004 Republican National Convention. He was also the keynote speaker at the 1992 Democratic National Convention which nominated Bill Clinton.
