Fanyana Shiburi
Fanyana Shiburi "was an award-winning journalist with the Sowetan, the Star and the Rand Daily Mail newspapers for over 20 years. He joined SANParks as their Marketing and Communications Director, where he co-founded the Imbewu Youth Programme together with The Wilderness Foundation. He subsequently brought his skills to the portfolio of Group Public Affairs Director of DaimlerChrysler, where he was involved in President Nelson Mandela initiatives, the Khula Cultural Village in Sodwana and various other social responsibility programmes. He serves on diverse boards such as Kgorong Investment Holdings, Board Member Wilderness Foundation, Board Member National Parks Honorary Rangers, Council Member Rhodes Business School, South African Football Association Development Council, Founder member National Black Business Council, Director SA Wildlife Anti-poaching Council, Founder member South African Union of Black Journalists and is a Founder member Media Workers Union of South Africa. His qualifications range from Journalism to Management from numerous institutions including Rhodes Business School, Wits Business School and Insead (France)." [1]
