Biographical Details
Executive Director/CEO/founder of Nibakure Children's Village. Floriane is a native of Rwanda and has been in the US since 1988. Floriane has two children, Clint Robins (20) and Elsa Robins (18). Floriane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary's University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also holds a degree in Modern languages from Institut Superieur Economique d’Ixelles, in Belgium.
"Before moving to the US, Floriane worked as a News Radio broadcaster in French in her native country; as a Bilingual Executive Assistant for UNDP and UNICEF, a freelance translator (French-English); and as an English teacher at the American Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda. Since moving to the US in 1988, Floriane has worked in various capacities as a Personnel Assistant, a Commissary Manager at the American Embassy in Burkina Faso (West Africa), as an Executive Assistant, an International Human Resources coordinator, and as a Translation Coordinator in Minnesota. She is planning to work with children as a counselor specifically at NCV." [1]
