Fraser Kemp is Labour MP for the Houghton and Washington East constituency, in the North-East of England [1].
Towards the end of 2004, Kemp was made vice-chairman of Labour's election planning group, preparing for the UK general election widely expected to take place in May 2005. He has been described by The Guardian as "Labour's Lib Dem-basher in chief". [2]
