Background on Plant
Fuxin power station is a four-unit coal-fired power station totaling 1,100 MW. It was originally owned by CPI, and was commissioned from 1996 to 2007. The units are known as Fuxin-2, units 4-5 and Fuxin-3, units 1-2; Fuxin-1 and the first three units of Fuxin-2 have been retired.[1]
Ownership
In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.[2]
