Fuxin power station (国家电投阜新发电公司) is an 1,100-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Liaoning Province, China.

Background on Plant

Fuxin power station is a four-unit coal-fired power station totaling 1,100 MW. It was originally owned by CPI, and was commissioned from 1996 to 2007. The units are known as Fuxin-2, units 4-5 and Fuxin-3, units 1-2; Fuxin-1 and the first three units of Fuxin-2 have been retired.

Ownership

In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.
