Fyns (Fynsværket) power station is a 362-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Syddanmark, Denmark. The plant also has a small biomass unit.

Background
The power station had eight units, only three of which were operating by 2009: unit 3, unit 7, and unit 8. Unit 3 has a power of 235 MW (coal), unit 7 of 362 MW (coal), and unit 8 of 35 MW (biomass).[1] The 235 MW coal unit was retired in 2010. The remaining coal and biomass units, along with a waste incineration plant, was acquired by Fjernvarme Fyn from Vattenfall in 2015 for US$180 million.[2][3]
