Gary Hoffman

Gary took up the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of Hastings Insurance Group "on 1 November 2012. He was most recently CEO of NBNK Investments, an investment vehicle formed in August 2010 to establish a UK-focused retail banking serving personal and business customers. Previously he was Chief Executive of Northern Rock. Gary was Vice-Chairman of Barclays plc from 2006-2008, having previously been Chairman of UK Banking and Barclaycard at Barclays plc following five years as Chief Executive of Barclaycard. He is a Board member of VISA Europe and Chairman of the Football Foundation." [1]

Gary Hoffman joined the Board of Trinity Mirror "in March 2005. He was appointed Senior Independent Director in May 2007. Gary was appointed Chief Executive of Northern Rock plc in October 2008. Previously Gary was Group Vice-Chairman and Executive Director of Barclays plc. He is a director of Visa Europe and is a Trustee of the Charities Aid Foundation. Gary is also Vice-Chairman of Coventry City Football Club."
