Gary Strieker
Gary Strieker "is a Producers International Media Associate, and CNN's former Global Environmental Correspondent. Mr. Strieker is one of the most respected environmental journalists in the world today. Gary Strieker has covered environmental and wildlife issues from “all-corners” of the globe earning international acclaim for his reporting. His "Our Planet" program continues to air on CNN/U.S. and CNN International.
"Strieker is not only an on air journalist but also serves as his own producer, cameraman, and video editor. Formerly CNN's Nairobi Bureau Chief, Strieker covered stories throughout sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia.
"In 2003, Strieker reported on Operation Iraqi Freedom from his embedded position on the aircraft carrier the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Persian Gulf.
