Gasco Energy is an independent oil and gas company focused on large natural gas deposits in the U.S. Rocky Mountain region and exploratory oil plays in the San Joaquin Basin in California. The company is focused primarily on Utah's Uinta Basin, where it operates over 130 producing wells in its core Riverbend Project, and targets multiple tight gas sands and shale gas areas. Gasco's proved reserves at year-end 2012 were approximately 14.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent, comprising 84% natural gas.[1]
