Gene T. Sykes

Gene T. Sykes "is a managing director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transitions, as well as private equity investments in the technology, media, telecommunications, healthcare, aerospace, and a number of other industries.

"Mr. Sykes received an AB degree from Harvard College in 1980 and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1984.

"Mr. Sykes is the chairman of the National Parks Association. He serves as a member of the nature Conservancy of California and as a board member of the California Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

"Mr. Sykes was born and raised in Southern California, where he resides with his wife, Tracy, and four children."
