Professor Giuseppe LoJacono (aka Giuseppi) was a prominent tobacco tout in Italy who was also a Professor of Hygiene at the University of Perugia in Rome. He was leader of a small group of medical academics who collectively worked behind the scenes to prop up the tobacco industry.

This group (eventually five) were run as ETS Consultants by tobacco lawyers Covington & Burling through Helmut Gaisch at FTR Switzerland and with the help of George B Leslie of ARIA and IAI in the UK. [2]
