Greater Educational Opportunities Foundation
The Greater Educational Opportunities Foundation (GEOF) describes itself as a "a non-profit 501(c)3 research and educational institution" that furthers "the national cause for market-based education reforms by perfecting its work at the local level in Indiana and Colorado." [1]
According to the Department of Education's Office of Inspector General report on Department PR expenditures in fiscal years 2002 through 2004, GEOF received $745,000 in 2003 - 2004, to "fund parent outreach programs centered on implementation of NCLB (the No Child Left Behind Act), school choice, and supplemental services." [2]
