Background on Project

According to a World Resources Institute report (2012), Inner Mongolia Asset Management Bureau was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 3,800 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

However, there have been no reports of further activity to develop those plans, and they appear to be shelved or abandoned.
