Guodian Dafanpu power station (蒙能准格尔大饭铺电厂二期) is a proposed 3,800-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Project

According to a World Resources Institute report (2012), Inner Mongolia Asset Management Bureau was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 3,800 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1]

However, there have been no reports of further activity to develop those plans, and they appear to be shelved or abandoned.
