Coal

The Port of Gwangyang handles coal, as well as petrochemical products, fertilizers, iron ore, and steel products.[1]

Gwangyang city is the home of POSCO's Gwangyang Steel Works, the largest steel plant in the world. The port imports coal, ore, and limestone to feed the steelworks.[2]
