Harold Hamm is the CEO of oil giant Continental Resources. He was acknowledged at the privately held Koch seminar in June 2011 in Vail, Colorado for donating at least $1 million to Koch-related causes.[1]
The Wall Street Journal reported that Hamm generated “almost all” of his $12 billion wealth in Continental from 2010-2012; he ranks at No. 36 on Forbes 2012 list of richest Americans.
In March 2012, the Romney campaign announced that Hamm would lead the candidate’s energy policy, joining a team that already includes coal lobbyist Jim Talent and tar-sands lobbyist David Wilkins.[2]
Hamm is also a member of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission
