Harry McPherson, a former Lyndon Johnson White House aide, is an attorney with the law firm of Verner Liipfert, which represents Philip Morris Cos., Inc., RJR Nabisco, Inc., Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation, U.S. Tobacco Company and Loews Corp.[1] According to an internal Philip Morris document served on the tobacco industry's "Core Legislative Team" circa July, 1997.[2] He is listed in an April 15, 1997 Covington & Burling list of industry lobbyists as a lobbyist for the Loew's Corporation (parent company of Lorillard).[3]
