Healthcare Homes Group owns 26 care homes. [1] In 2013 Allan Wood took over the position of Chairman from Richard Clough, joint founder of Healthcare Homes, who has moved to a Non-Executive Director position.
From 2008: "The group was formed when August Equity backed Richard Clough, the former chief executive of Care UK, in a £37m management buy-in of Abbott Healthcare. Since then, Mr Clough has expanded Healthcare Homes with a series of acquisitions, including the PriMed Group, one of East Anglia's largest care home providers." [2]
