Biographical Information
"Helen Wildsmith joined CCLA (the UK Church and charity mutual) in 2008, and as Head of Ethical & Responsible Investment she is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s client-driven approach in this evolving area. Prior to this she worked as a consultant to CCLA and the sector, and was the Executive Director of UKSIF (the sustainable investment and finance association) from 2002 to 2005. She started her career at NatWest in 1990, specialising in strategy development and project management across the group, and has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Organisation from the London School of Economics and an MPhil in Futures Studies. She is a member of a the $87tn Carbon Disclosure Project’s carbon catalyst group, which helped launch Carbon Action, and a member of FTSE4Good’s policy and criteria committees. Helen represents the CBF Church of England Funds on the £12bn Church Investors Group’s steering committee, and until recently chaired the UKSIF committee that oversees the strategic direction of National Ethical Investment Week."
