Background on Plant

Henan Xinmi power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 2,700 MW in Henan Province. The two-unit Xinmi-1 plant, totaling 250 MW, has been retired. Xinmi-2 Units 1 & 2, totaling 640 MW, were completed between 2006 and 2007. Xinmi-2 Units 3 & 4, totaling 2,060 MW, were completed in 2012. The plant is owned by SDIC.[1]
