Heris Power Station also known as the Heris Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 990-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant, in Heris county, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1]

Background

Construction of the Herris power station began June 21, 2014. It was planned to have a capacity of 1000 MW.[2] The first phase of operation commenced on August 1, 2019[1]
