Hibikinada IDI Power Station is a 112-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Location
The undated satellite photo below shows 1 Hibikimachi, Wakamatsu ward in Kitakyushu city, the location of the plant, according to the Kiko Network.[1]
Background on Plant
The 112 MW coal-fired power station is proposed by IDI Infrastructure for the city of Kitakyushu. Because of the plant's small size, the EIA is under local assessment. It was submitted in November 2015 and approved in March 2016.[1]
According to the Kiko Network (November 2018), the plant is under construction and scheduled to go into service in February 2019.[2]
Operation began in February 2019.[3]
