Background on Plant
Hohhot Aluminum power station was a proposed six-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,800 MW by Hohhot National Electric Power Company.[1] Two of the units were built as part of the Datang Tuoketuo power station, owned by China Datang. The remaining four units have been cancelled.[2]
