Hongqingliang Coal Mine (杭锦旗西部能源开发有限公司红庆梁煤矿) is located within the Taran Gaole Mining Area of Inner Mongolia, China. Its annual production capacity is designed to be 6 million tonnes(Mt) a year.

Coal Mine Background

In July 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has ratified the construction of Hongqingliang Coal Mine located in Taran Gaole Mining Area, with a total production capacity of 6Mt/year.[1]

The construction of the principal part of the project started since May 2012 and completed until June 2018. [2] In the same year, the Hongqinghe Coal Mine entered into the phase of experimental operation.[3]
