Background on Project

China Huadian is currently planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,200 MW in Chongqing Province.[1][2][3][4]

The power station is under construction, and planned for operation in 2016.[5]

The plant went online in December 2016.[6]
