Background on Plant

Huaiyin power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 660 MW in Jiangsu Province. The first nine units, totaling at least 125 MW, have been retired. Unit 10, with a capacity of 330 MW, was completed in 2008. Unit 11, with a capacity of 330 MW, was completed in 2011. The plant is owned by Jiangsu Guoxin Invesment Group.
