Background on Plant

The four existing coal-fired units of Huaneng Fuzhou power station, totaling 1,400 MW, were brought online between 1988 and 1999. The plant is owned by China Huaneng.

Description of Expansion

China Huaneng recently built two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total capacity of 1,320 MW. The new units were completed in 2010.
